We are looking for YOU! The Board of Directors for the South County Alliance is looking for community members who have a keen interest in the future direction of Grizzly Flats, including - but not limited to - the Grizzly Flats Community Center Project.
Interested individuals should have a strong sense of community and be available to participate and commit to meetings and planning sessions at least once a month. Meetings are often held in the mornings on the 3rd Thursday of the month (although this can vary) either in Grizzly Flats or downtown Placerville. You would also assist in the planning and running of fundraising events, including Burger Nights on Friday evenings from June to August. The South County Alliance is a "working committee" and therefore members will actively participate in efforts required to ensure the success of the Alliance's mission, including fundraising efforts, administrative, etc. We are looking for individuals with previous experience in those areas and a willingness to be actively involved.
